Hello - Thanks for your interest. I could not upload the picture of the product. That might have made things a bit easier to see. It's as simple as it sounds, you literally plug this little gadget into the lighter socket of your car and it will save you money on your petrol! I hope this helps - Any more info needed, please do ask and I am more than happy to help. Clare. P.S. I can email over the picture I have if you'd like to see it?

Commented annie in La Marina 2012-08-22 15:55:50 UTC

Yes, it is just for petrol Peter. Here is a link for you to have a look at, hopefully it will explain it a little more. I am new to selling these, so I am still learning too! http://trust-e-reviews.com/neosocket/

For anyone having trouble with the link, please do let me know and I will copy and paste the test into the forum!

Many thanks. Clare

If you Google this there are a number of websites who have tested these fuel saving devices.

All agree they can find no evidence that these items work atall

Commented mickdunckley in Daya Vieja 2012-08-22 21:21:41 UTC

Thank you for your comment, however my friend would never recommend something that they had not tried and tested out themselves and had found to be valid. They always research everything fully before they recommend anything. And test it out themselves too. As I said before, I am more than happy to provide testimonials. I am not out to take money off of anyone for something that does not work. Please, if you have evidence of these not working, then do share the links, as I have heard nothing of the sort.

As I say......How does it work?

Some info on the dynamics would be welcome.

How does your cigarette lighter interject with the carburetter - and almost every new car now doesnt have a cigarette lighter ??? I have heard of ones that pug in and keep your batt topped up but not control fuel consumption..

Exactly Souxie!!!!!

Commented annie in La Marina 2012-08-24 09:06:47 UTC

If this is the device - I have found a review on the internet....http://the-gadgeteer.com/2010/06/30/fueldoctor-fuel-saving-device-review/

Hi there - I will comment asap - We have had no electric for a day or so, so had a lot going on. As I said before, I am new to selling these, but I would not try and sell anything that I would not use myself or that has not come highly recommended. Souxie - Are you one of the contributors to my book? I recognise the name! If so, the person that I am selling these with is a friend of the person that sent out requests for quotes for me. Clare

Commented Clare Bean 3 in Quesada 2012-08-24 16:21:11 UTC

Sorry Clare bean 3 in Quesada I have no clue as to what you are talking about - what book

Commented Souxie in La Marina 2012-08-24 21:07:10 UTC

Hi Souxie. No worries. It's called The "What Makes You Happy?" Book Project and I am looking for people to provide me with quotes about what makes them happy for this book. The idea is to help others. The response so far has been fantastic and I am now in the papers and I plan to get into more and make this a worldwide project. I will see if I can get hold of any more information on the Petrol Savers and then I will post it. :)

Oh, meant to say. If anyone wants to "Try before they buy" then there's an option there. Please do let me know and that would put an end to all the speculation and one of you can actually try it out and then comment on actual factual proof that you have seen yourself. Thanks! Clare

I for one am very sceptical about these magic devices. After reading the review, why don't the manufacturers filter out unwanted electrical noise if it affects mpg? It would be in their interests to publish the best mpg figures
