Hogs Head..
I hope the Hogs Head opens up soon, I have read all the nasty remarks on here and have been out for a couple of hours and have heard more remarks in the places that I have been to, I do not believe them and wonder how certain people can be so vindictive, I have to think there is either a lot of jealousy going on a bit of mental illness what ever it is I know this urbanisation would be a much poorer place with out the Hogs Head, Great food and great entertainment. Good luck to Paul and Jan..One other thing I would like to add,I think people using this forum should be made to use their proper name that way we could stop the idiots putting the nasty remarks on here.
Peter what investigations are you talking about,Is it about the cause of the fire or is it that the Hogs Head allegedly don't pay there bills.Because that is what is being alleged (without a shred of evidence,except someone told someone else who got it from another person who got it in a dream) Even one of the original starters of the fire rumour was satisfied with the Hogs Head answer,He himself was then vilified by another Hogs Head hater,who told him the fines being talked about was for something else,and then added Aquegest bills into the equation.I don't know who done what to who,and in all fairness as long as nobody blames me I don't really care of the outcome.Except If someone has a pop at me for no particular reason,I will retaliate, As I am sure you would.in the same position.
I don't even know what investigation you are on about,because on reading all the pros and cons of this feed,it is not about a fire now but about fraud,and that would not be investigated for your knowledge that is for sure.As for the claptrap spoken,all of my remarks have been pro Hogs Head,so I gather mine is claptrap.Or is that different to Trevors opinion.
BOTH! No one will gain anything adding to various rumours. Lets just cool it and wait for the outcome of the investigations because there will be one.

I think you still don't get what is happening
Firstly an allegation,that fault electrics caused a fire(probably true)Secondly that the Hogs Head had there electricity through a by passed meter(probably untrue)within 48 hours Hogs head Fined 16000 Euros for by passing meter(Def. untrue,Spain could never operate that quickly)Next person sees Hogs Head reply and two papers posted on doors on the Bar stating this (Def.True) next a change in story,the 16000 fine plus 700 euros a month for two years, has been handed to Hogs head for non payment of electricity(If true the Investigation would of already have taken place, so why didn't anybody mention it before the fire so probably untrue)In between all this a someone then puts a comment on here about her talk with the barmans wife, who told her that the barman didn't pay tax, and didn't have a residential (possibly true, but if I knew this Lady I def. wouldn't tell her anything) In a nutshell,that is how I read it, or in different word WITCH HUNT was started, but as it gradually fell to bits, other things had to be made up to keep it going.
I could be wrong, and all what is said may be surprisingly nearer the mark than I think it is. But I am confident ,that you are wrong about two investigations going on,At the most it may be one and that will be the true cause of the fire.
Luckily few people side with the rumour and some of them have stopped trying to defend there actions.
Although like you I would like to see the end of this debacle. The only ways it can happen is when some of the anti Hogs head brigade, give some proof that what they claim is true, Or the Fire Brigade,the Landlord,the Police,arrest those responsible (if anybody) Until then I will defend the Hogs Head,Much the same as trevor did,and for which you berated him

Trevor, that's what the Alan Mazza and Marco show is about. We're trying to debunk rhese silly rumours. Why should people be allowed on here and make derogatory remarks about people using a nom de plume. Let them have their say., but they shou;d have to post under their real name. I know I keep going on abpout it but why should anyone be allowed to take a persons name..

Why cannot people wait to find out the result of investigations before spouting off such rubbish. By this I mean people like TW who just wrote such claptrap. Just because someone says 'I am not guilty', idiots pamper to them instead of being quiet and awaiting the outcome. Nothing against 'The Hogs Head' but lets wait and see what happens instead of jumping on the band wagon!
