Paul Docherty

I have just found out that our friend Paul 'Doc' Docherty has passed away. Devastated is how we feel as, this man was unique. If I live to be 150, I would never be fit to lace his magical family and football boots. Doc and his family are the reason La Marina will always be a thriving place for decent, honest and hard working people. I know that as a community you will be feeling heartbroken. I also know that we all thought that our 'Superman' would beat this terrible affliction.
Your friends in Liverpool are just as heartbroken Paul, and we will never forget your warm smile, dazzling sense of humour and terrible taste in football (boro). Sleep well my friend and watch over your beautiful family; they will never walk alone xxxx
